Portland-based Fleet Logistics Inc. has raised another $5 million from investors, according to documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The young company made news last spring when it secured a $4 million seed round led by Texas-based Hunt Technology Ventures.
Fleet declined to comment on the latest round, though the SEC filing indicates it could grow as large at $9.9 million.
The company has developed a logistics marketplace that connects businesses to freight forwarders, who coordinate product shipments to markets worldwide. Within the Fleet marketplace, businesses can send requests, gather quotes, review and compare freight forwarder services.
