Lee Reeves has more than 10 years of experience working in both public and private companies, including startups and Fortune 500 companies. After graduating from the University of Washington in 2009, Lee worked as the Director of Business Development for MVP Group The Technology Partners Inc., a Seattle start up that specialized in the development of WNIA (Wireless Notification Intelligence Applications) for commercial and private sector end users.
In 2013, Lee was one of five young professionals from Seattle selected by Seattle Rotary District 5030 for the 2013 Group Study Exchange Program. Over the course of six weeks, he participated in multiple business seminars, startup events and innovation forums hosted by some of Russia’s largest corporations including Artezio, Magnit, Severstal and Sberbank. After returning from Russia, Lee joined ZINO Society, an angel investment network in Seattle, as Vice President of Business Development. In this capacity, Lee was responsible for early stage company recruitment, investment fund facilitation, due diligence reporting and investor relations.
Prior to joining Galvanize Seattle as the Evangelist, Lee was the Community Manager for IBM’s startup program, IBM Global Entrepreneur, where he supported the growth and development of tech companies and startup communities through mentorship, connections, and access to technology resources. As Community Manager in the Pacific Northwest, Lee managed regional relationships with (Bend, Eugene, Portland, Seattle, Victoria, Vancouver & Anchorage) accelerators and other startup initiatives with the goal of supporting startup communities. Lee has a very diverse professional network; he has relationships with law firms, manufacturers, commercial distribution partners, tech accelerators, incubators, coding schools, angel investors and venture capitalists. Lee has served on the Seattle delegation for Vancouver Startup Week and as a panelist for ‘Bridging the Gap’ between Seattle and Vancouver. He currently serves as the Director of Business Development for Seattle Startup Week (2017).
Lee founded Cascadia Venture Catalyst Group in 2016.
